It is in the learning that I come face to face each and every time with grace.
It rarely gets better than that.
Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more...It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. It turns problems into gifts, failures into successes, the unexpected into perfect timing and mistakes into important events.
Melody Beattie
Grace abounds to those who are thankful. Life and circumstances may not change. Yet, in our thankfulness we see beyond the horizon where grace shines bright.
AMEN!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a beautiful thanksgiving.
Blessings, andrea

Beautiful! Grace abounds -- in the grand and the simple.
ReplyDeleteIn the beautiful, and the ugly.
In our joys, and yes -- even in our sorrows.
Grace. "Charis." Gift.
His amazing grace still amazes, doesn't it?
What a wonderful quote. This has helped me so much in my current situation. I am finding myself mulling this over and over. Thank you so much for sharing this!
ReplyDeleteSo thankful for the shining beyond of grace. As I walk in faith and with my frailties, I'm ever mindful of my need for reaching grace. Some days I get it wrong... like yesterday. Some days, very right... like tonight. There's an ebb and flow to my all that is rarely consistent. I humbly thank God for his grace which is always consistent.
ReplyDeleteLove you friend. Good to hear from you.

My dear Denise,
ReplyDeleteThis is a brief but powerful post! And how my heart resonates in agreement with every word you have written.
I love your heart, Denise. You put into words the very feelings I am going through this month, this year!
Yes, like you, I am a student of grace.
I read your most recent post, I am praying for God's healing hand to touch your mother in law.
Much love,
Lidj
