There are those times when in the midst of life we can do no more than move forward in the faith that God is who He says He is.
The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It's our handle on what we can't see.
Hebrews 11:1 The Message
In that truth alone, I have been existing in these last few weeks and will continue to press on into the unknown.
My life is on the loom and each moment is like a row being weaved into eternity. It may not look like much now but in time as the weaving progresses and the rows are formed and pressed together, its beauty will begin to be form.
For now, I must trust in the Weaver's vision. In His hands the threads are laid and the purpose is set. In His time the blessing will be seen.

Denise,
ReplyDeleteThis post touched my heart. It is so beautifully written from the depths of your being.
Thank you for sharing from your heart.
Blessings, andrea
Yesterday, as I sat in my car waiting for my son to get out of school, a teacher crossed the line, wearing a sweatshirt with big, bold letters that spelled "F-A-I-T-H" on her back. All of a sudden, the pastor started talking about faith in the Christian station I listen to, and mentioned this verse you shared. Faith.. it is...the substance...With the Weaver, we know He always creates the masterpiece! God bless you.
ReplyDeleteDenise,

I told my Bible study gals the other night that the true "miracle" of our lives is the fact that, despite all manner of tragedies and suffering we go through, we keep to the road of faith. We keep walking it through.
ReplyDeleteKeep walking it through, Denise. Your steps are the stuff of miracles.
Love you.

I love the picture of the weaver, and the words that you wrote to describe what you are feeling. Your words are always so apt, so timely. Sometimes I can't help but feel that we must be on the same journey of faith, except that the circumstances are different.
ReplyDeleteHe is weaving my story and yours, row by row, line by line... and we do not see the finished product yet.
I thank God that He continues to use your life (and blog) to encourage others like me!
Love
Lidj
Praying for you dear sister and your tender heart. Love you.
ReplyDeleteI have just been visiting your blog, as a link from another one. Denise, your words just ring in my heart! Such a beautiful expression of so many of the same longings and desires for more of God. Thank you for your honest sharing. I'll be back to visit again.
